Meet Alex,
Owner & Lead Groomer
Hi! I'm Alex.
I'm an animal nerd. I've had animals all my life and I fell in love with learning dogs since starting my pet store bathing career in 2017. This was coincidentally a little while after when I got my first puppy, now an old man.
Pet store grooming didn't turn out to be for me, but definitely didn't sway my determination.
Over the last couple of years, I've traveled around Ontario to advance my skills under several mentors with decades of experience, working in high volume salons and attending educational seminars.
In April of 2024, I opened my doors as Posh Pooch Grooming Co and I have proudly and steadily worked to shape my atmosphere into my own vision.
I keep up to date with continued education. I am registered with Fear Free Pets, ProHero Trainings, and The International Grooming Society. I've picked up a lot of skills and certifications like; doodles, hand stripping techniques, safe handling of pooches and kitties in all stages of life, advanced handling, breed specific pet trims, rehabilitation, science based grooming.
I have been recognized for my proactive communication, my attention to detail, my understanding of behaviour, and experience based knowledge that have successfully rehabilitated behavioural, skin, nail, and coat conditions by catching them early. This fuels my drive to continue my education and advance my practice.
I am focused on the relationship that I have with your pet. I find it really fulfilling to get to know my clients and provide the quality, technique, comfort and commitment that my fluffy friends deserve, from the shampoos I hand select for quality, to my humanity over vanity philosophy.
How I do things could seem tedious, or "over the top" and maybe you don't think your dog needs "all that". If that's true, I'm probably not the groomer for you. My approach factors in the balance of skin, health, coat, as well as the emotional health of your pet.
I keep my clients on a 1-8 week schedule to encourage familiarity, maintain hygiene, and to reduce stress. I am currently accepting request clients that fit well with my rotation.
I am accepting limited clientele, by request only of all sizes and breeds, for weekdays only.

Meet Jaz,
Senior Stylist
Meet Jaz
Senior Stylist Jaz brings over a decade of professional grooming experience, having trained and worked with respected mentors across Canada throughout her career. Through years of hands-on practice and advanced mentorship, she has developed a refined eye for balance, structure, and polished finishing work across a wide variety of breeds and coat types.
Her work focuses on precision scissoring and refined finishing techniques that create balanced trims designed to grow out cleanly between appointments. Jaz has developed a strong reputation for her work with poodle and doodle coats, where thoughtful shaping and attention to structure create beautifully balanced styles. With a calm and adaptable approach, Jaz works confidently with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. She prioritizes both safety and comfort during every appointment and is certified in Canine CPR and First Aid.
Jaz takes pride in the craftsmanship behind her work and values building trust with both pets and their owners. She especially enjoys working with clients who maintain a regular grooming routine, allowing each dog to look and feel their best year-round.
Specialty coats such as doodles and poodles benefit from regular grooming and consistent home maintenance to remain comfortable and mat-free. When coats become severely matted, humane grooming practices may require shorter styling in order to protect the dog’s comfort and skin health. Jaz will always prioritize the comfort, safety, and humane treatment of every dog when determining the appropriate grooming approach.
Jaz is currently accepting clients of all sizes and most breeds.

Meet Stef,
Senior Groomer

Hi! I’m Stefania — but everyone calls me Stef. I’m so excited to share that I’ve joined the PPGC team!
I offer full-service grooming for both dogs and cats, and I’ve spent the last 7 years perfecting my grooming skills — plus over 12 years working with dogs in general, learning about behaviour and handling. Continuing my education is really important to me, whether it’s learning new grooming techniques or deepening my understanding of animal behaviour.
I started my journey at Sheridan College in the Animal Care program, where I was introduced to animal welfare, first aid, and basic grooming. From there, I worked at a boarding facility near Pearson Airport in Toronto, gaining hands-on experience with dog behaviour, management, and positive reinforcement.
My grooming career officially took off in 2019 when I joined PetSmart as a bather. I became a groomer in 2020 and eventually moved into the Salon Leader role. Along the way, I built so many wonderful relationships with pet parents and their fur babies — dogs and cats alike. I have a soft spot for anxious pets and always strive to create a calm, neutral space where they can feel safe, build trust, and (with the help of some treats!) enjoy their grooming experience.
I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies!
Meet Jen,
Senior Groomer

Hi I’m Jen!
I am a Junior Stylist and started my grooming career with casually grooming for friends and family. I started my professional training with Posh Pooch Grooming Co in February of 2025.
Since working with Posh Pooch, I have grown to love working with medium to large breed shedding dogs. Bring on the labs, shepherds, huskies, etc! I also enjoy working with dogs who may be a little nervous and seeing the confidence they build with each visit because they know they are in a safe place and well cared for. Although I do have a passion for large breeds, I have tackled everything from monster de-sheds to tiny poodle trims.
I am enthusiastic about nail maintenance. I am an avid learner and am continuing to learn quickly alongside our senior stylists.
I am accepting clients of all sizes and breeds.
